I read “This is IT” a few times before it hit me when I was 19, in 1971. I wanted so bad to thank Alan Watts, but it also occurred to me that it wasn’t necessary, I WAS him. In the first comment on this page, the writer mentions the Dalai Lama. But this Dalai Lama guy might not “know” what’s up, what some of us “know” (for lack of a better word) since he was “appointed” — Capice?

micheals story is really inspiring and im sure a lot of teens can relate and be helped by this program. i want you to know that i support your cause and love that you two have done this. a lot of teenaagers wont feel alone anymore and hope is the best gift you can give so thank you for that

Glad you are doing something about it. All the things in food today are effecting the age children are entering puberty. It can not be a good thing. Plastics and their chemicals might be the cause. Simple things like glass bottles would help again.

I have read that Francis Shepard with funding from the American Petroleum Institute provided an early study of the geography of the Gulf of Mexico in 1960.

Dr. Shepard worked for the Scripps Oceanography Institute in San Diego.

I have also been told by a group of Schlumberger oilmen that the Harte Institute’s interest in the Gulf of Mexico is as tied to oil discoveries as to environmental concerns. Is this true?

James Carville was screaming for help in Louisiana from Scripps, the Army Corp of Engineers….Superman, anyone with expertise who could help. Should this symbiosis be a cause for real concern? Can oil money be used to help the oil companies look beyond petroleum? Even if it means limiting their production until the safety technology catches up with the other aspects of drilling and deposit discovery?
